790 School Psychology Internship (3, 6, 9, 12:0:0) (formerly PSYC 765 and EDUC 665).Prerequisites: Completion of required courses in School Psychology and permission of program coordinator. Provides a one-school-year supervised field experience in which the advanced school psychology student functions as a full-time staff member within a school system. The student completes a paper on a practical research project involving an alternative school psychology role in the school system. Enrollment is for a total of 9 hours (thesis option) or 12 hours (nonthesis option) in increments of 3 hours according to placement. Students enrolled in PSYC 799 are not required to complete the practical research project.
